Whether your gout is currently on the attack or in hiding,

To qualify for this study you must:

• Have a diagnosis of gout
• Have had at least 2 gout attacks in the past 12 months
• Be willing to take treatment daily to prevent gout attacks

You should know that:

• The study doctor will see you monthly over the next 6 months to optimise your treatment, with the goal of reducing your gout attacks
• Your medical information is kept strictly confidential

When you qualify for this study, you will receive:

• Close monitoring of your gout to optimise your long-term treatment at no cost to you
• Compensation for travel
• Reimbursement for your gout medication (allopurinol)
